Hi Jase, thanks for your insights. Sure, we could contribute from our own capital, but the real significant effect will be at the institutional/systemic level. Supporting the biggest NGOs will not have a dramatic effect if you got the Koch brothers or big oil companies lobbying to keep exploiting resources and the system. Our individual actions make a very small difference, unless systemic change takes place.

PS. about climate change, good point! Next time better to specify it is a human-induced gobal warming :)
