My utopian world of philosophy
Welcome to the mix up of philosophy:
The mix up where our Hobbsian natural state of nature of war persists. The mix up where we need the Democracy of Spinoza in order to be free, with the trade off of giving our right to act in our own interests. Welcome to the world where every decision we make is predetermined and where the words “I can change my destiny” are inexistent. Change your destiny and that was predermined. The good news is, we are free, there´s nothing for us to worry about because everything is written down. Welcome to the world of De Beauvoir where gender is a linguistic construct, but not any more…it´s a blur where there´s no male and female, only you and I. Welcome to the Kantian world where there is no adult or child, but only the being able to think for oneself. And welcome, welcome everybody, to the world of Plato where the one who rules is the philosopher, the smarter, the greater…and if we are talking about politics, lets not forget to add the importance of the common good of the people above all, no matter the means to the end, as Machiavelli said.
And if we die, who are we in this world? We are human time…we will be immortal, but be careful, only if we create something that will persist after we are gone…just like Arendt said. But now, the end of this world has come, and we shall finalize it by diving mind and body…we need no body, only mind…and fortunately or unfortunately, our minds will fit in those squared, information mechanisms, which have helped us fight wars, hate, and solved the biggest humanities issues: welcome everyone to the end of humanity and the beginning of technology: where our mind governs inside a screen and our bodies will be stored forever.
